Vilja Reads

I'm a student, so I don't have nearly as much time for leisure reading as I'd like. If I manage to read an entire course book instead of just the assigned chapters, I'll review that here, too.

Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side (Miss Marple)

The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side - Agatha Christie Agatha Christie never disappoints when you're looking for a certain kind of light reading - cool, objective stories about great emotions, good and evil at a hygienic distance. This one packed a bit more of a punch - or perhaps I was just in the right mood to be affected, but the tragedy of Marina Gregg was sort of pulpishly delicious - especially when contrasted with the peaceful, amusing portraits of ordinary St Mary's Mead people.
