I'm a student, so I don't have nearly as much time for leisure reading as I'd like. If I manage to read an entire course book instead of just the assigned chapters, I'll review that here, too.
A pitch perfect romance novel,m eaning it hit all the cliches along the way. The hero is a bully. The heroine is innocent but sensual. She has a secret past, he has a secret past, there was a previous wife who was prettier than the heroine but not as morally sound, etc etc yadda yadda. If you're looking for an easy mental palate cleanser, you could do worse that his. At least the characterisation, though stereotypical, is fairly consistent, there are no shifting POVs from one paragraph to the next, and every plot point arrives precisely on time in that unsurprising but strangely satisfying way.
